Questa performance nasce da una serie di improvvisazioni teatrali che si sono sviluppate sul tema della poesia di H. Hesse "Gradini" tratta dal libro "Il gioco delle perle di vetro" il risultato è un gioco di immagini e di suoni che esprimono la possibile interazione fra la poesia e gli attori.
I personaggi si muovono su trampoli e a terra sono immersi in un'ambientazione interamente bianca che li trasporta in un'atmosfera diversa, più alta,...Trattandosi di spettacolo itinerante sono previsti momenti di spostamento sottolineati dal ritmo del tamburo.
Le scene stabili sono caratterizzate da gags, teatro di figura e danza, la parte finale prevede: numeri di magia, un walzer, sequenze con maschere e ampi teli su cui fluttua un pallone gigante, in apertura e chiusura di questa ultima performance un “ narratore “ reciterà alcuni brani della poesia “ Gradini”
